We planned that this would be our last notice:

As you all know the surgery went off smoothly and we were told that the chemo treatment had been so successful that 95% of the tumor was dead when it was removed. There will be another simple surgery (The surgeon tells us this will take about a 20 minutes.) next month to remove a larger margin around where the tumor was located to insure that there was no cancer left behind.  After that Page will have four or five weeks of radiation treatments.

Page has volunteered to take part in a follow-up trial that will last for a number of years, and hopefully give the doctors new and better insights into the mechanisms involved in breast cancer.. This will begin after her treatment has been completed. At that time we will find out if she has been accepted into this trial.

Thanks for all your prayers and well-wishes.
